Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the TagFit app and its related services (the "Service"). The Service is provided by Juan José Montiel Pérez ("we", "us"), contact: info@tagfit.app. By using TagFit you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

TagFit helps you organize your belongings into spaces, categories and items, with optional photos, voice notes and NFC tags. The core app works locally on your device free of charge. An optional premium subscription (TagFit Premium) adds cloud backup and synchronization, sharing spaces with other people, helpers who can build outfits from the web, and AI-assisted features.

3. Subscriptions and billing

TagFit Premium is an auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it anytime in your Apple Account settings. Prices are shown before you buy and may vary by country. Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Apple's refund rules apply to purchases made through the App Store.

4. Purchases without an account

You can buy premium without creating an account or providing an email. In that case we create an anonymous account tied to your purchase receipt: the receipt is the key to your premium and to the cloud copy of your data, and both move to another device when you restore your purchase there (the previous installation keeps its local copy but stops syncing). Anonymous accounts cannot be recovered without the receipt and cannot use sharing. Adding an email later makes your account durable, keeps your premium and your data, and enables sharing.

5. Your content

Everything you store in TagFit (items, photos, voice notes, names) is yours. You grant us only the limited license needed to operate the Service: hosting your content, syncing it across your devices, showing it to the people you choose to share with, and processing photos or voice notes with AI when you use those features. We do not use your content to train AI models and we do not sell it. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload.

6. Sharing and acceptable use

You decide who can access your spaces by sending invitations, and the people you invite can see the content of those spaces (helpers can also see your profile photo). Only invite people you trust. You agree not to use TagFit to store or share content that is unlawful, offensive, or that infringes other people's rights, and not to abuse, probe or disrupt the Service. If someone shares offensive content with you, you can report it from the app or the helper site, or write to info@tagfit.app; we review reports within 24 hours and may remove content, revoke sharing access, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. When your subscription ends

When your subscription expires you keep full premium access during a 7-day grace period. After it, sharing is deactivated (members lose access to your spaces and you lose access to spaces shared with you) and cloud features stop, but the app keeps working locally with all your data on your device. If you do not renew, the cloud copy of your data is deleted 180 days after expiry — we warn you 30 days and 7 days in advance, and renewing at any time before the deletion keeps everything. The data stored locally on your device is never affected.

8. Account deletion and termination

You can delete your account from the app at any time (Settings → Account). Deletion takes effect after a 30-day grace period during which you can change your mind by signing in again — or, if your account was created with a purchase and has no email, by restoring your purchase. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate these Terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

9. Disclaimers and liability

We work hard to keep TagFit reliable, but the Service is provided "as is" and we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Remember that the app stores your data locally: keep your device backed up. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights that consumer-protection law grants you.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Using the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Questions and notices: info@tagfit.app.
